The HAC is located in the centre of the City of London. The entrance on City Road has the appearance of an Oxbridge college gate and is situated directly next to 32-36 City Road and opposite the Travelodge.

Allow plenty of time to arrive before kick-off.

Getting there

London Underground

The nearest tube stations are Moorgate (walk north up City Rd) or Old Street (Exit 5 – walk south down City Rd). Both are a 3-4 minute walk to the HAC.

Main Line Stations

Liverpool Street (approximately 10 minutes’ walk) or Moorgate (approximately 5 minutes’ walk)

Car parking

There is NO PARKING at the HAC other than for pre-booked disabled badge holders (please contact the HAC as necessary). There is an NCP car park at Finsbury Square almost opposite the HAC.


Tickets for the event are no longer available online but can be purchased on the day for £16 (cash only).

The HAC is a military base and spectators may be subject to a bag check.

For the game, the gate opens at 1400; kick-off is at 1500. Entry is with a valid ticket only.

Hospitality is open from noon; lunch will start at 1230. There will be an auction and a table raffle (please bring £10 cash). The main bar will stop serving drinks at 1400.

No food or drink can be brought into the venue but drinks (soft, beer, wine, prosecco) and food (burgers/sausages) are available inside.

The pitchside marquee bar is cash only.

Programmes will be on sale at £4.

If it rains, we will have ponchos on sale.

For those with Matchday Special Tickets, you will receive your programme and food and drink vouchers on arrival.

Pitchside seating is available and marked for those who need to sit.

The game will conclude before 1700. After that, medals, man of the match and the trophy will be presented.

Parking is available only for those with specific needs and must be pre-arranged. Travel and car park information is available here:

If you need to leave and return to the venue for any reason, please inform gate staff when departing as you may not be allowed to get back in.

For alumni of the two Universities, Blues Blazers and club ties are requested, as are University colours.
